Fresh, crunchy, and naturally satisfying, our Sunflower Microgreens have a mild, nutty flavor with a subtle sweetness. Their thick, juicy stems and tender green leaves provide a hearty texture that makes them an excellent addition to meals or a fresh snack on their own.

Enjoy sunflower microgreens in salads, sandwiches, wraps, grain bowls, smoothies, eggs, soups, and finished entrées. Add them just before serving to preserve their fresh flavor and satisfying crunch.

Flavor: Mild, nutty, and slightly sweet
Texture: Crisp, juicy, and tender
Great for: Salads, sandwiches, wraps, grain bowls, smoothies, eggs, soups, and garnishes
Storage: Keep refrigerated and dry. For best quality, use within 5–7 days.

For the best freshness, keep microgreens refrigerated at 35–40°F in their original container or a clean, covered container with some airflow.

  • Keep microgreens as dry as possible. Excess moisture can cause them to spoil faster.

  • Do not wash them until you are ready to eat them.

  • Place a clean, dry paper towel inside the container to absorb moisture, replacing it when damp.

  • Avoid crushing or tightly packing the leaves.

  • Store them away from strong-smelling foods.

For the best flavor and texture, enjoy microgreens within 5–7 days of purchase. Some sturdier varieties, such as pea shoots and sunflower microgreens, may remain fresh slightly longer when properly stored.

Before eating, rinse gently under cool running water and pat dry. Discard microgreens that appear slimy, moldy, heavily wilted, or have an unpleasant odor.
