There are 3 elements essential to staying alive: air, water, and food. Everything else is negotiable.

To have a healthy, balanced life, you want the best of all three: 

  • Breathe clean, fresh air without pollutants or smoke/smog
  • Drink clear, clean water that without chemicals or contaminants
  • Eat fresh, nutritious food that nourishes and gives life

Our mothers and grandmothers were right – you really are what you eat. We know that too much fast food or junk food isn’t considered a healthy diet. But what is?

There are about as many different definitions of what is a “healthy diet” as there are diet books.

  • Low fat 
  • Low carb
  • High protein
  • Plant-based/Vegetarian/Vegan
  • Mediterranean
  • Keto

There are also allergy considerations that seem much more prevalent than a couple of decades ago adding to the types of diets; like dairy-free and gluten-free.

Pesticides, GMO’s, and Organics bring another dimension to the question of what is a healthy diet.

The truth is that there is not one answer for everyone.

Our goal is to share our journey in a balanced healthy lifestyle.
